I have always been a sucker for out-of-order narration. I love watching pieces fall together via flashbacks or jumps forward in time. The way I see it: it's one thing to know how it all ends, and it's another thing entirely to know why it ends the way it does. So yeah, I like what they did with it. I think they used the mechanic very well.
